In today’s PorscheCooled Podcast Michael presents episode 32 of owner stories with Simon from the UK. Simon’s love of cars all started from reading car magazines. Fuelling his passion Simon’s friend bought and sold cars including Porsches. This is how Simon got to drive his first 911. His earliest Porsche experience was driving a 1982 Targa 250 miles in the rain back from Glasgow. Simon’s car journey has been an interesting one and full of iconic driver’s cars. These include a Sirocco MK1 GTI, RS2000, Audi UR Quattro and Renault 5 GT Turbo. Also a Honda Integra Type-R which he still owns today.  Fast forward a few years and Simon is now enjoying his first Porsche; a 2003 996 generation 911 Carrera 4S. Why the Porsche 996? Well, Simon prefers it’s slightly retro look and analogue feel compared to newer generations of the 911.
